Mary ‘Jane’ Quinn

QUINN, Mary "Jane" 90, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Society in Lyons, KS.

She was born Jan. 21, 1922, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Weishautt) Abrams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Quinn on Dec. 2, 1988, and daughter-in-law, Joyce Quinn on Dec. 20, 2009.

Jane worked as a secretary for 30 years at the former Mingo High School for the Mingo Board of Education. She was a very active member of the Mingo First United Presbyterian Church, having sang in the choir, was a church Elder, and also former church treasurer.

Surviving two sons, James C. Quinn of Grants, New Mexico and John H. (Sharon) Quinn of Lyons, Kansas; five grandchildren, R.C., Jackie, Tracy, Isaac and Kristen Quinn; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kenn Sickle, officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo.

Memorial contributions may be directed in Jane's memory to the Mingo First United Presbyterian Church, 650 McLister Ave., Mingo Junction, OH 43938
