WELLSBURG - Emory "Nip" and Barbara "Barb" Fisher of Wellsburg celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sept. 20.
They were married Sept. 20, 1962, in Hinesville, Ga.
She is the oldest daughter of the late Rev. Lewis C. and Gertrude E. Wilson Porter.

He is the son of the late Howard E. and Irene F. Murphy Fisher.
He served in the Army in Italy and retired in 1995 from the Windsor Power House Coal Co. in Beech Bottom.
They have one daughter, Loralea D. Kirby of Little Egg Harbor, N.J. They have three grandsons.
They are members of the Voice of Pentecost Church in Weirton.
They will celebrate with family and friends at the Cape May National Seashore later this year.
