Riders fall to 0-4

GRAFTON - The Weir High football team dropped its fourth game in as many outings, 27-6, Friday at Grafton High School.

The Red Riders, who host Liberty-Harrison Friday, scored its only touchdown in the third quarter. Quarterback William Larch completed a 21-yard pass to Kameron Davis, who was hit at the 1 and fumbled the ball into the end zone, where it was recovered by Jaquan Ware.

Weir managed 166 yards of offense with Larch throwing for the team's 72 yards passing and running for 56 of the team's 94 rushing yards.

Grafton managed 292 yards of offense against the Red Riders, including 181 yards and three scores on the ground.

Weir (0-4) hosts Liberty Friday.
