STUTLER, Kathryn "Kitty," 95, of Scott Depot, fought the good fight, finished the course, and passed gently into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012.
Kitty was born in Deep Valley, PA, on June 11, 1917, to David and Goldie (Anderson) Kerr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; her sister Virginia; her brother, Kenneth; and her daughter, the Rev. Nancy S. Custer.
Kitty is survived by her son, Stanley Joseph and his wife Terri of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; her son-in-law, Gordon Custer of Scio, Ohio; four grandchildren, Rev. Kelli Frazier and her husband Marty of Hurricane, Scott Grum of Marietta, Georgia, Stanley Joseph Stutler II and his wife Lisa of Knoxville, TN, and Jay Custer and his wife Susan of Sugar Creek, Ohio; six great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandson.
Kitty's service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. at Hurricane First Church of the Nazarene, 2325 U.S. 60, Hurricane, WV, with Rev. Phil Bower officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, 5-7 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be sent to the Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave. SW, Charleston, WV 25309.
