The Toronto Red Knights football team opened Toronto’s renovated stadium Friday night against Shadyside. The stadium features a new facade, new seating and a new press box. Those improvements were made possible when voters approved a 6.5-mill tax levy in 2010 that covered a school improvement bond issue and a continuous maintenance levy. The stadium work is part of a project that will see a new school built. The current high school is seen in the background. -- Mike Mathison
