Edison selling tickets
RICHMOND - Tickets for Edison's home opener against Weir High at 7:30 p.m. Friday are available from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the high school athletic office. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students. All tickets are $7 at the gate.
Redskins selling tickets
WINTERSVILLE - Indian Creek will sell tickets to Friday's 7 p.m. game at Oak Glen until 3 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the high school guidance office. Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets are $6 at the gate.
Big Red to host fall league
STEUBENVILLE - The Steubenville Girls Basketball Fall League will be held at Big Red on Sunday's from Sept. 16 through Oct. 21 in two age divisions - middle school (grades 5-8) and high school.
Only two players from the same school will be allowed on the same team per OHSAA rules. Teams may change on a weekly basis.
Cost is $50 per person and includes a numbered jersey and officiated games. Deadline is Sept. 9.

Memberships being sold
NEW MANCHESTER - The Friends of Oak Glen will sell memberships at Friday's home football game against Indian Creek. Memberships can be purchased until 6:50 p.m. just inside the main gate on the main concourse near the home side concession. Anyone purchasing a membership will receive a complimentary copy of the "Friday Night Chaos" Oak Glen football video, featuring the Mad River Men Band that debuted at last Friday's home opener.
Proceeds from the memberships will benefit Oak Glen High School athletics and special athletic projects.
League seeking teams
STEUBENVILLE - The Steubenville Parks and Recreation Department is trying to hold a 49-and-over men's softball league on Thursdays at Belleview Park.
