James ‘Carvie’ Lynch

LYNCH, James "Carvie," 57, of Steubenville passed away Sept. 2, 2012.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1954, to the union of the late James and Mary Jones Lynch.

After graduating high school he entered the U.S. Army and received an Honorable discharge for his service. He loved music and played in many bands.

He worked with Cicely and Smith, Jefferson County CAC and was self employed.

He was an active member of Second Chance Ministries COGIC.

Carvie was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Tina and Patty, and a brother, Robert.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a beloved wife; Mary, children; Carvie "Boot", Carlos, Sheldon, Blair, Xavior, Tamesha, Nyketa, Doretha, Janelle, Bethany and Jamie, Siblings, Arlin, Carlotta, Sherry, Geraldine, Penny, Veronica and Maria, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Service Saturday, September 8th at 11 a.m. Second Chance Ministries COGIC, 255 3rd Street at the corner of South Street. Pastor, Mark Gilliam will officate.
