Big Red to host fall league
STEUBENVILLE - The Steubenville Girls Basketball Fall League will be held at Big Red on Sunday's from Sept. 16 through Oct. 21 in two age divisions - middle school (grades 5-8) and high school.
Only two players from the same school will be allowed on the same team per OHSAA rules. Teams may change on a weekly basis.
Cost is $50 per person and includes a numbered jersey and officiated games. Deadline is Sept. 9.

Lamantia records an ace
TORONTO - Ruth Lamantia recorded a hole-in-one at Dyer Country Club. She used a pitching wedge on the par 3 fifth hole. The shot was witnessed by Arlene Owens and Mary Alice Harper.
