The Herald-Star

Edison High School vocal music students Zachariah Zdinak, a Class of 2012 graduate; seniors Bryce Satkowski and Emily Cavanaugh; and Sadie Marquis, a junior, were selected to sing with the 50th edition of the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir.

They were recommended by their high school choir director Dani Carroll.

The 200-member choir, under the direction of Charles R. Snyder, included high school singers from all points in Ohio who performed at the 12-day Ohio State Fair held from July 25 through Aug. 5.

The choir members spent five days in rigorous rehearsals prior to the official opening of the 157th Ohio State Fair on July 25. Each day of the fair the Youth Choir sang to approximately 60,000 fairgoers as they participated in more than 100 performances.
