To the editor:
As I returned from the farmers' market recently, I could not help appreciating all the blessings a town the size of Steubenville has to offer.
I was born and raised in Steubenville, raised my own family here and I have seen our city experience positive growth in many areas.
Our city leaders have made many substantial improvements to our town and they are to be congratulated, but there is one thing that is missing and is vitally needed at this moment. It is a senior citizens center for Steubenville's aging population.
What a wonderful accomplishment it would be for our town. It would make our friendly atmosphere complete.
I'm wondering how other seniors feel about this valuable project.
