Family reunions

Constantine

The Constantine family reunion on Aug. 4 at Austin Lake attracted 50 people to the event that reunites the children and grandchildren of Artmand and Grace Constantine.

Swimming and riding paddle boats and gocarts were activities enjoyed.

Ann Corra, 89, was the oldest one there, Helaina Ziso, 18 months old, the youngest.

Cowser

The Cowser family reunion participants enjoyed swimming and playing cornhole on Aug. 4 at Austin Lake.

Mary Cowser, 82,was the oldest one there out of 40 attending. Ava Doty was the youngest person at age 2.

Special guests were Jack and Joyce West and Sam Jackson.

Mills

There were 50 people on hand for the July 1 Mills reunion held at Austin Lake.

The gathering included children's games, bingo for adults, a cornhole tournament, cards, an auction and a 50-50 drawing.

Nancy Cutlip was the oldest person attending and Guy Charles Hilderbrand the youngest.

McKnight

Judy Garrett, 94, was the oldest person in attendance when the 67th-annual McKnight family reunion was held July 15 at Austin Lake.

There were 23 attending.

Mark Woodward won the 50-50 drawing, and Connie Baptiste won the door prize.

Officers are: president, Jennifer McKnight Hebrebrand; vice president, Linda Clifton; and secretary, Lindsay Clifton.

Tice

The Tice reunion was held July 29 at Austin Lake with 52 in attendance to enjoy a day of swimming, fishing, bingo, drawings and a cookout.

Camryn Prentice, 13 months, was the youngest person there with Georgette B. Tice, 76, the eldest. Mary Jane Dawson and Sherri Staley of Michigan traveled the farthest.

Virginia Snedeker won a 32-inch television set with a DVD player. Elmer Tice won the 50-50 drawing.

Spencer

The Spencer family reunion brought together 37 adults and 10 children when the descendants of Clifford and Luella Spencer gathered July 14 at Austin Lake for food, photos and a cornhole tournament.

Charles Spencer, 86, and grandson Chuck Spencer were the cornhole toss winners. Bobbie Jo Spencer won the jar guessing game.

Ralph Spencer, 89, was the oldest male in attendance and Helen Williamson, 84, the oldest female. Zenfira Spencer, 1, daughter of Luke and Michelle Spencer, was the youngest person there.

Doris and Bob Carey of Summerville, S.C., traveled the farthest.

The next reunion will be held July 13.
