Cited: Shawn L. Lazear Jr., 26, 223 Main St., Follansbee, failure to yield; Allison M. George, no age listed, 1617 Moreland Drive, driving with suspended license and stop sign; William K. Dinino, no age listed, 110 Karen Way, Weirton, expired plates; and Charles N. Denny, 41, 528 N. Sixth St., one way street.

Vandalism: Truck window broken Thursday in the 600 block of South Street and driver found a person in the rear of the cab. The person inside ran away when the driver went to call police.

Arrested: Marilyn Thomas, 31, Apartment 306, 214 N. Fourth St., contempt of court, Thursday.

Arrested: Nicole L. Pierson, 29, 1263 Wilson Ave., Mingo Junction, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with suspended license and stop sign, Thursday.

Arrested: Robert E. Wilta Jr., 30, no fixed address, intoxication and harassment by inmate after spitting on officer, Thursday.

Arrested: Eugene Brown, 21, 1215 Oregon Ave., bench warrant out of municipal court, Thursday.

Assault: Woman assaulted inside apartment Thursday evening in the 400 block of South Sixth Street. The woman was taken to Trinity Medical Center West for treatment, police reported.

Jefferson County


Theft: Vehicle taken from lot at SPM Motor Fleet Services, state Route 43, Richmond, and four dealer plates also taken, Thursday.

Arrested: Marcus J. Jarvis, 18, and Rick J. Willis, 22, both of Salineville, each charged Thursday with arson in connection with the theft of a truck in Carroll County and setting it on fire in Jefferson County.
