WINTERSVILLE - John and Marsha Durish Jr. of Wintersville celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 15.
They were united at St. Peter's Cathedral in Steubenville on July 15, 1972, by Monsignor Cornelius.
The Durishes are celebrating with family while enjoying a beach vacation.

Durish, the son of the late John and Marge Durish, is a retired pipefitter with Local 490. He spent the latter years of his career with McCarl's Inc., where he still serves as a consultant.
His wife is the daughter of the late Luther and Kathleen Hartsough. She is a retired educator who most recently was employed throughout the county as a GRADS teacher.
They have two daughters, Jodi Rielly of Steubenville and Kristen Durish of Wintersville. Five grandchildren complete the family.
