Hill top Presbyterian Church

Hill Top Presbyterian Church on county Road 46, Toronto, will hold its Vacation Bible School program July 30 through Aug. 3 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The program is open to those in preschool through junior high. The theme is "Son Games - God's Team in Action" to coincide with the Summer Olympics in London. There will be Bible study, music, snacks, crafts and games each evening. The closing program will be held Aug. 5 at the 10:30 a.m. worship service.

Marland Heights Community Church,

First Baptist of Steubenville

Vacation Bible schools for children in kindergarten through sixth grade will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Marland Heights Community Church at 3900 Bright Way, Weirton, and from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday at First Baptist of Steubenville located at 334 Cedar Ave., Steubenville.

Camp Conquest also will include "Being Leaders That Honor God: In Church and Home" study for men. For women, studies will include "Loving Your Children," Monday; "How to Shop Smart," Tuesday; and "How to Have an Effective Quiet Time," Wednesday. Nursery and childcare will be provided. There will be games, activities, Bible study and videos for children through teens. Those who participated in VBS activities will be invited to attend a barbecue July 27.

Wellsburg churches

Several Wellsburg churches are teaming for a Vacation Bible School to be held Monday through Friday to the theme, "Sky: Everything is Possible with God."

Children from age 4 to sixth-graders will participate in Bible-learning activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, make treats and test out science-based gizmos.

Pre-school and kindergartners will meet from 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 1014 Main St. First- through sixth-graders will meet from 9 a.m. to noon at Wellsburg First Presbyterian Church, 901 Charles St.

Family members and friends can join them for a program at the end of each day at 11:45 a.m. at Wellsburg First Presbyterian Church at Ninth and Charles streets.

Other churches participating in the program are Wellsburg United Methodist, Franklin United Methodist, St. John Catholic, Community of Christ, New Day Christian Center, Wellsburg Christian and Wellsburg First Baptist.
