This is a very long shot, but, here goes:
My father, James Edward Murphy (1909-54), was born and raised in Mingo Junction, a son of Daniel and Jessie (Thomson) Murphy.
During his youth -what years, I'm not sure - he played ball for the Mingo Indians. I just wondered if any of your local readers have any information at all on that ball team, as I have come up empty-handed on it in all my efforts.
