WEAVER, Edward C., 94, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012, at his home of natural causes.
He was born January 26, 1918, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Tobias C. and Emma Bruhn Weaver. Edward retired from Weirton Steel working in the 54 inch Strip Steel Electric Dept. He was a member of Weirton Steel 25-year Club and Covenant Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed playing checkers and cards with his granddaughters Anna and Shannon.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife Ann Rusinko Weaver in 1981; two sisters and four brothers.

Surviving are two sons Joel (Carol Taylor) Weaver of Wayne, PA, and Jan (Valorie) Weaver of Wintersville, OH; four daughters Joyce Holtzapfel of Huntington, WV, Jone (Jack) Cionni of Follansbee, WV, Jean Weaver of Houston, TX, and Jill (Richard) Westfall of Follansbee, WV; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Monday 24 and 68 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Paul Danielson officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to Salvation Army.
