YOKLIC, Albert Lewis, beloved husband to Virginia, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Weirton Medical Center. He was 90 years old and resided in Weirton.
Albert was born on Oct. 24, 1921, in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of Nick Yoklic and Mary Radovich. On Aug. 17, 1973, he married Virginia Petzold at the First Baptist Church in Weirton, WV.
Albert retired in 1983 from The National Steel Corporation as superintendent of construction. He was a member of Saint Joseph The Worker Church in Weirton, a member of the Weirton V.F.W. and the 25 Year Club of Weirton Steel. Albert was a past president of the Weirton Termite Association, as well as past president of the Weir High Boosters. During World War II, Albert proudly served his country in the United States Army, participating in campaigns in Northern France, Central Europe, Ardennes, Normandy and Rhineland.

Along with his parents, Albert is preceeded in death by his first wife, Loiuse Gunsur Yoklic; and two brothers, Martin and Nick Yoklic.
Albert is survived by his loving wife Virginia Yoklic; daughters Linda (Walter) Adyniec and Denise (Anthony) Troia; one stepdaughter Francine (Rich) Hauldren; sons Albert (Jodie) Yoklic and Mark Yoklic; sisters Helen Beaumont, Jean Benson, and Wilma (Larry) Iacofano; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph The Worker Church, 229 California Ave., Weirton with Reverend Manuel Gelido officiating.
