Big Red to host annual dinner
STEUBENVILLE - The 16th-annual Appreciation and Football Kickoff Dinner, sponsored by the Steubenville Big Red Boosters Club, will be held at 3 p.m. July 22 at the East Elementary School. The cost is $10 per person.
The senior football players and cheerleaders will be introduced and coach Reno Saccoccia will preview the coming season.

Barnhart golf event to be held
CHESTER - The fourth-annual Jerry Barnhart Memorial Golf Scramble will be held on July 28 at Mountaineer's Woodview Golf Course. It will be an 8 a.m. shotgun start with registration beginning at 7 a.m. The cost of the four-person scramble is $70 per person and includes golf, golf carts, breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages throughout the day. There will be hole prizes, door prizes and drawings.
To secure a cart, entry fee must be in by July 14. All proceeds will benefit the Oak Glen football program.

Tryouts to be held
