CADIZ - Kaci Carter won the grand champion market chickens category at the Harrison County Junior Fair poultry show, while Jeremiah Wood had the reserve pen of three market chickens.
Both are members of the Tri-County Showstoppers 4-H Club.
Wood was the outstanding market exhibitor in the senior division, and took show of showman and senior division showmanship awards; Carter, outstanding intermediate winner; and Abbi Kelly, a member of the Cadiz Ranchers, outstanding exhibitor in the junior division. Dominique Keesey was the intermediate division showmanship winner, and Garrett Bossell of the Cadiz Ranchers was the junior showmanship winner.
In fancy poultry, Billy Fulton of Kountry Kids 4-H, was the grand and reserve champion, show of showman and intermediate showmanship winner. Lillie Henline of Freeport Friends was the senior showmanship winner; and Kathryn Wood was the junior division winner.
Dylan Warner of the New Rumley 4-H had the grand champion market turkey champion and was outstanding senior market exhibitor and show of showman and senior showman winner. Kaci Carter had the reserve champion and outstanding intermediate market exhibitor; and Bryan Blazeski was the outstanding junior exhibitor. Seth Richardson was the junior division showmanship winner.
Garrett Rice of the Dusty Boots was the grand champion market turkey winner and outstanding junior exhibitor. Westin Fogle of the Royal Riders had the reserve champion turkey. J.P. Colnaghi of the Royal Riders was the senior outstanding market exhibitor and senior showman winner; Fulton the intermediate winner; Gabrielle Rice the junior winner; and Brooke McMillen was show of showman winner.
