The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club has announced the monthly competition winners for May.
The print winners for the topic of the month "Object in Motion" were Deb Snider, first place; Ernest D'Andrea, second place; and Anissa Wellington and Karen Tindor, third place. Winners for the open category were Dave Rees, first place; Angela McClain and Chris Horvath, second place; and Andy Tindor, third place.
The special effects winners included Becky Mikesell, first place; McClain, second place; and Don Roberts, Claudia Norris, Snider and Barb Momyer, third place.
The slide winners for the topic "Object in Motion" were Rees; first place; Whiting, second place; and Norris, third place.The open category winners included Rees, first place; Whiting, second place; and Norris, third place. The special effects winners were Whiting, first place; Dave Rees, second place; and Ruth Bovalina, third place.
In place of the club's workshop meeting for May, the club and guests met at the Center of Music and Art in Wintersville for the opening of its spring exhibit.
It was announced that Snider will assume the duties of vice president previously held by Wellington.
