STEUBENVILLE - Three individuals were sentenced in Jefferson County Common Pleas Court Tuesday.

Matthew D. Lanham Jr., 20, of 125 township Road 275, Bergholz, was sentenced to two years probation by Common Pleas Judge David Henderson after pleading guilty to theft and complicity to breaking and entering.

Lanham and Jeffrey S. Beatty, 30, of 265 Springfield Township Road 307, Wolf Run, were charged with a Dec. 27 break-in of a garage in the Bergholz area and the theft of a tractor and two ATVs.

Beatty earlier was sentenced to one year in prison by Henderson after pleading guilty to two counts of theft and a single count of complicity to breaking and entering.

Ryan W. Harris, 20. of 142 S. Buffalo St., Cadiz, was sentenced to two years in prison by Henderson after pleading guilty to burglary.

Stephen Stock, 40, of 937 Broadway Blvd. was sentenced to 90 days in the Jefferson County jail by Henderson after Stock pleaded guilty to failure to comply with the order of a police officer after fleeing from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

An OSHP plane over state Route 7 clocked Stock driving 90 mph on April 23. A trooper flagged him to pull over at the Franklin Street exit. Stock slowed but fled down the ramp. He drove around Toronto, with the OSHP plane providing visual help for the trooper. Stock eventually parked the vehicle and fled on foot. Stock turned himself into the highway patrol the next day.
