Judy Vavrek, station manager of WCDK-FM and WEIR-AM, said Sunday's second-annual event is shaping up as a great day and family fun and entertainment.

Presented by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and WTOV-TV, the day of activities in and around Hollywood City Center and the Harding practice facility, will conclude with an evening concert featuring the Clarks in Harding Stadium. Mount Pleasant's Joe Zelek will get the evening's entertainment started at 7 p.m., with the Clarks scheduled to take the stage at 8:15 p.m.

"We've had a good start to ticket sales but most people come the week of the event to pick up tickets," she said. "The concert will take place rain or shine."

Opening ceremonies begin at noon at the Harding practice field. A car cruise featuring karaoke and a disc jockey will be held from noon to 3 p.m. in the Harding School upper parking lot. Inflatables, games and food and nonfood vendors will be in the Harding practice facility, while a beer garden and a local food vendor will be in the Kroger lot. The family fun zone will be sponsored by the Fort Steuben Mall.

The concert will be followed by Steubenville's annual fireworks display above Hollywood City Center at approximately 9:45 p.m. This year's display is being sponsored by the city, TEAM Automotive and Hollywood City Center.
