ZIMNOX, David John, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 14, 2012.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1953, in Steubenville, Ohio.
David was a member of the American Legion Bexley Post. He worked as a quality control manager for Worthington Industries for about 15 years. He was an avid Steelers fan and he enjoyed hanging with friends at the Garden Inn. He also enjoyed fishing.
Above all, David enjoyed being a proud dad. His family meant the world to him.
David was preceded in death by his father, Walter Chester Zimnox.
He is survived by his loving mother, Genevieve Ann Zimnox; children, John David (Jennifer) Zimnox, Dustin Ross Zimnox, and Genevieve (Simon Harding) Zimnox; siblings, Dennis Chester (Roberta K.) Zimnox, John (fiancee Amy Haden) Zimnox, and Michele (Todd) Barnes; six grandchildren; girlfriend, Rochelle Betters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at 10 a.m.
Interment at Mifflin Cemetery.
