The Scottish Rite Masons of Steubenville awarded scholarship money May 11. The members of the Valley of Steubenville annually present scholarships to the children and/or grandchildren of members of the valley and graduates of the Masonic Learning Center.
Awarded the Leon Abbott Scholarship were Megan E. Albert, a student at the University of North Carolina/Wilmington, and Issac E. Seevers, a student at the University of Akron. Awarded the Valley of Steubenville Scholarship were Caleb M. Cook, Indian Creek High School; Jonathan A. Craven, Lake Catholic High School; Hannah M. Eckley, Indian Creek High School; Torrie E. Fryman, Beaver Local High School; Morgan P. Millhorn, Jefferson County Christian School; Mollie Metcalf, Catholic Central High School; Aaron A. Powley, Edison High School; and Joshua A. Vandebourne, Delaware City Schools.
Applications for these scholarships are available annually on Jan. 2 and must be completed in duplicate and returned to the valley secretary by April 1.
