GERARD, Rosemary J., 82, of Steubenville, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Trinity West.
She was born March 18, 1930, in Mingo Junction, the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Byers Salanci.
Rosemary was a homemaker; a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and its CWC and was an avid Catholic Central High School and Notre Dame fan.
Rosemary is also preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Gerard; five brothers, George, Tom, Andrew, John and Bill Salanci; and one sister, Margaret Thompson.
Surviving are her three daughters, Paula Gerard of Steubenville, Pamela (fiance' Edward Taylor) Walker of Columbus and Patricia (Jerry) Arquette of S.C.; two grandchildren, AJ Gillard and Tara Walker.
Calling hours are Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Monsignor Gerald Calovini. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
