To the editor:
Concerning RG Steel layoffs, I don't get it. Scrap steel prices are through the roof. We ship all of the raw materials to make steel overseas, they make steel into slabs and ship them all of the way back here to be rolled and plated at a profit? Do the math. That doesn't make sense. How can we not make steel cheaper at a profit and provide our people with jobs?
