RUCKI, Sylvia G., 88, died on May 25 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her daughter, Susan; and her grandson, Nick.
Sylvia was born Argiro G. Papandreas in Morgantown, W.Va., in 1924.
Surviving children are John of Amsteram, Robert of Kilbuck, Mary Beth of Coraopolis, Pa., and James of Findley. She leaves 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a registered nurse and retired from St. John's Hospital in Steubenville. She was active in her church and her community.
Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 10 a.m. in St. Joesph Catholic Church of Amsterdam with Fr. John McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Bergholz Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam.
