GREEN, Richard "Ernie," 51, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Monday May 14, 2012, in his home.
He was born July 8, 1960, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Robert "Bob" Green and Barbara (Bane) Green of Brilliant.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Betty Green and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Mary Bane.
Ernie was an electrician having worked for his father at Valley Electric. He was a member of the Brilliant Christian Church and the Brilliant Sons of the American Legion Post 573. Ernie was an avid sports fan, especially the Philadelphia Phillies and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
In addition to his mom, Barb, he is survived by a sister, Beverly (Steve) Stillion; a nephew, Tyler Stillion both of Colerain, OH; and his dog, CoCo.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the SAL services at 7 p.m. and his funeral service at 7:15 p.m., with Dr. Marc R. Tinstman, Minister, officiating.
