Paul E. Smith

SMITH, Paul E., 90 of Toronto, Ohio, and Kissimmee, Fla., formerly from Weirton, W.Va., passed away April 29, 2012, in Florida.

He was born in Holidays Cove, W.Va., son of Harry D. and Bertha Smith.

He graduated from the former Follansbee High School, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was retired from the Accounting Dept. of Weirton Steel.

Through the years, Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, boating, golfing and singing in the choir. He was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church in Weirton, and was very active in the Sherwood Community Chapel in Kissimmee.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Francis (Fay) Smith, and his second wife, Jane Smith. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, David, Harold, and Kenneth Smith.

He is survived by a son, Terry L. (Vikki) Smith, of Columbus Ohio, and daughter, Patricia Boggess, of Toronto, Ohio, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many extended-family members.

Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
