STEUBENVILLE -The Jefferson County grand jury returned 11 indictments Wednesday, including a Toronto man who was offering teenagers money to come to his apartment and three men from Chicago who were arrested by the county drug task force on heroin possession.

Jeffery L. Chevalier, 51, of Apartment 314, 425 N. Fifth St., Toronto, was indicted on a charge of importuning.

County Prosecutor Jane Hanlin said Chevalier was arrested by Toronto Police on March 30 after offering money to teenage boys to come back to his apartment.

Anton Rich, 37, Zakkai Z. Gibson, 34, and Sabrina Whittmon-Williams, 33, all of Chicago, were arrested by the county drug task force on April 11 after a raid on a residence at Apartment 1, 2803 Sunset Blvd. City Police and members of the drug task force found 75 grams of heroin, two firearms and about $10,000 in cash in the apartment.

Rich and Whittmon-Williams were charged with possession of heroin, and Gibson was charged with single counts of possession of heroin and having a weapon as a convicted felon.

Shawn L. Antill, 18, who has addresses listed in Toronto and Empire, was indicted in two separate cases.

He was indicted in one case on single counts of felony drug trafficking and misdemeanor counts of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Antill was indicted in the other case on one count of complicity to theft, four counts of criminal mischief and three counts of theft.

Toronto Police reported Antill was identified by witnesses for breaking into a vehicle in the 800 block of Daniels Street the weekend of April 8-9. Items stolen from the vehicle included a gun, knives and a flashlight.

Officers chased Antill to a house in the 900 block of Daniels Street and found the stolen gun in a yard.

Chavelle O. McGee, 31, of 972 Sherman Ave. was indicted on single counts of having a weapon as a convicted felon, tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.

Chavelle was arrested March 20 after an officer chased him and found a gun an officer said was dropped by Chavelle.

Police reported an officer saw McGee in the area of South Seventh and Adams street. Knowing there were warrants for his arrest, the officer told McGee to stay but he took off running, police reported. The officer lost sight of McGee but later saw him in the 100 block of South Eighth Street and he was placed under arrest.

Police reported McGee's sunglasses, hat and a gun were found beside a house in the 100 block of South Eighth Street.

The grand jury also returned the following indictments:

- Charlotte G. Gibson, 54, of 201 Burton Drive, Cadiz, theft.

- Tony L. Dillard, 33, of Apartment 3, 2614 Sunset Blvd., felony operating a vehicle under the influence. Hanlin said Dillard has three prior OVI convictions.
