MCCLAIN, Harold J., 88, of Steubenville, OH., died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Weirton Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Steubenville, a son of the late Jay G. and Tillie A. Rawlins McClain.
He was a retired school photographer for Carl Mansfield Studio.
Harold was an Army veteran of World War II and a ham radio operator.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Irene Long McClain; and five nieces, Patricia (Greg) Varoga Ehalt of Murrysville, PA, Mary Kay (Sam) Conner of Aliquippa, PA, Barbara (Ralph) Carapellotti of Berea, OH, Linda Bright of Steubenville and Janice (Ronald) Turner of Suwanie, GA.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road Wintersville on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 12:30 p.m.
