RUTTER, Carl E., 88, of Chiefland, Fla., passed away at his home on April 26, 2012.
He was born in Belmont, Ohio, on April 22, 1924, to Leslie Forrest and Dora Mae Adams Rutter.
Mr. Rutter proudly served his country in the CCC's and the U.S. Army. He was a steel worker and was a member of the Church of Christ Cherry Sink, Trenton.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Rutter of Chiefland, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Karen Rutter of Trenton, Fla.; stepchildren, Stanley D. Beach of Chiefland, Fla., and Janice B. Yelvington of Gainesville, Fla.; sister, Doris Cornett of Ashland, Ore., and brother, Roger Rutter of Scottsburg, Ind.; grandchildren Serena (Jamie) Lewis, Cameron (Amanda) Rutter, Mikeah Rutter and great-grandchildren, Gavin and Joscelyn Lewis.
Visitation for Carl will be held on Thursday from 2 p.m. up until time of his Service at 4:30 p.m., at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St., Toronto, Ohio. Burial will take place in Center Chapel Cemetery on Friday.
