MANGER, Lorraine Parrish, 88, of Weirton, W.Va., died Monday, April 30, 2012.
She was born Oct. 13, 1923, a daughter of the late Royal B. and Mary Ann Boyle Rinehart.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Manger was employed by GTE Co. in Florida. She was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran during World War II, stationed in Washington, D.C. in administration.
She was a volunteer for the Weirton Medical Center and the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Manger enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader.
Surviving are: one daughter, Judy (Larry) Grilley of Warrens, Wisc.; five sons, Greg (Becky) Parrish of Hummelstown, Pa., Ricky Parrish of Port Charlotte, Fla., Patrick Parrish of Englewood, Fla., Chris (Carla) Parrish of Mausten, Wisc., and David (Kristi) Parrish of Freeport, Ill.; one sister, Betty Williams of Parris, Pa.; one special niece, Karen Lochran of Paris, Pa.; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are: husband, Vincent Parrish, daughter, Gloria Kingsliegn, and brother, Richard Rinehart.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil, Pa.
