STEUBENVILLE - U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, R-Marietta will host an open forum with seniors Monday afternoon and then a town hall event Monday evening.
Johnson announced he will meet with area seniors from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at the YMCA Wellness Center at St. John Arena to discuss Medicare and Social Security issues.
He will also have a question and answer session during the meeting.
Johnson will then host a jobs town hall meeting focusing on jobs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Eastern Gateway Community College.
Johnson said he will be joined by Mark Gracy, owner of Bully Tools in Steubenville.
Following opening remarks by Johnson and Gracy the two men will answer questions related to job creation from constituents in the audience.
Johnson said the Monday evening meeting is part of a jobs themed town hall series he is hosting throughout eastern and southeastern Ohio.
