ROBINSON, Kenneth Wayne, 66, of New Cumberland, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at home.
He was born Nov. 11, 1945, in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late Hays Robert and Burnetta White Robinson.
He was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church, Colliers, W.Va., Weirton Steel 25 year club, Weirton Lodge 171 A.F.&A.M., Hall's Hunting and Fishing Club, Weirton Steel golf league.
Ken was a graduate of West Liberty College with a bachelors degree in accounting. He was retired from Weirton Steel Corp., Allegheny Ludlum Steel, and Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. as a risk manager. On May 8, 1965, in Weirton, W.Va., he married Sara Hukill.
Surviving are his wife, Sara Hukill Robinson; sons, Steven Robinson (Jill) of Weirton, W.Va., Gregory Robinson (Shelley) of New Cumberland, W.Va., Lee Robinson (Gina) of Oberlin, Ohio; grandchildren, Hays, Bethany, Sierra, Cortny, Brock, Sydney, Eva, and Kenzey; sisters, Marlene Kondus (Louis) of Simpsonville, N.C., Bernadine Eannottie (Patrick) of Weirton, W.Va.; brothers, Robert Robinson (Jean) of Weirton, W.Va., and Virgil Robinson (Sheila) of Weirton, W.Va.
Visitation will be at the Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, W.Va., Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Garrison officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
