DAUGHERTY, Kazuko, 73, of Bergholz, Ohio, passed away April 19, 2012, in Stow, Ohio.
She was born March 10, 1939, in Okinawa, Japan, a daughter of Tsunenobu and Kimiko (Tengan) Yasumura.
Kazuko was a member of Bergholz Trinity United Presbyterian Church and the sewing guild.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Monica (Jerry) Albright of Stow, Ohio; grandchildren, Nicole and Jessica Albright; niece, Shoko Agena Pukish of Guantanamo Bay; brother-in-law, Roger Daugherty of Atlanta, Ga., three brothers, two sisters and many nieces and nephews all of Japan.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Second St., Bergholz. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. at the church. The family invites all attending to a dinner at the church immediately following the service.
