ROWE, Paulyne Phyllis, 88, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the Stone Pear Pavilion, Chester, W.Va.
She was born July 13, 1923, in Milwaukee, Wis. She was the daughter of the late Clifford Eckhart and Hazel Johnson Feutz.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Brady Rowe, and half- brother, Lanny Feutz.
Paulyne was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Weirton, W.Va. She was a U.S. Navy veteran. During World War II she was a Navy nurse's aide, stationed in San Diego, Calif. For many years she worked as a nurse's aide at the former Weirton General Hospital.
Surviving are her daughters, Pamela Jill Cottrill (Rick) of Chester, W.Va. and Robin Michelle Johnson (Scott) of Weirton, W.Va.; sons, John Robert Rowe (Kathy) of Weirton, W.Va., Thomas Edwin Rowe (fiancee Kelly Williams) of Virginia Beach, Va.; grand children, Amy Rowe, Lindsay Schrader (Paul), Scott Johnson, Kelly McDiffitt (Chris), Jamie Rischitelli (Mike), and Tracey King (Brian). Also survived by her cat, "Billy."
