TORONTO - Kathryn Louise Allen and Timothy Michael Pestian were united in marriage on July 16 at Bath United Church of Christ in Bath, Ohio. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Mark Fry and the Rev. Norman Douglas.

The bride is the daughter of Suzanne and Mitchell Allen of Akron.

The groom is the son of Gina and Timothy Pestian of Toronto.

Morgan Lasher, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin Kandrac, Erin Wyatt, Lauren Foley, Ashley Garner and Michelle Crossen.

Bryan Santin, the groom's cousin, was the best man. Groomsmen were Bruce McKinstry, George Mavromatis, Ryan Marker, Jeffery Barlow and Michael Givens.

Mia and Ella McKinstry were the flower girls, and George Grant Mavromatis was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at Fairlawn Country Club. The newlyweds honeymooned in Punta Cana.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Ohio University. She is employed as the volunteer manager at One of a Kind Pet Rescue, a nonprofit animal shelter.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Catholic Central High School and the Ohio Academy of Paul Mitchell. He is employed at Georgie's Salon and Spa in Fairlawn.

The couple reside in Akron.
