EDDY, Verla Mae, 78, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born Jan. 5, 1934, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Beatrice McGrew Ferguson.
Verla was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tammy Eddy, and her brother Robert Ferguson.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas L. Eddy; two daughters, Carol (Rickie) Caputo and Terri (Robert) Kirkpatrick; two grandchildren, Terra Caputo and Daniel Voght and brother, Jerry (Patricia) Ferguson.
Friends may call at Fort Steuben Burial Estates Chapel on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon with Rev. Jerry Ernst officiating with burial to follow. Arrangements handled by Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville.
