New high school is a must

To the editor:

Hi, my name is Niki Wiggam. I am a sophomore at Indian Creek High School. I think that Indian Creek should build a new high school. Our building is falling apart. There is not enough room for all of the students, and it is not new, resulting in a dangerous environment. I have many reasons for my opinion.

First, there is not enough room for all of the students. Most of the classrooms are completely full. The teachers have to borrow desks from other classrooms because they do not have enough. We had to have portables built outside of the school. This leads to my next reason for building a new school.

Our school is not safe for a couple of reasons. Students have to walk outside to go to half of their classes. I have seen people slip and fall in the winter because of ice. I, myself, have slipped many times. Eventually, someone will get seriously injured. Also, anybody can just walk right onto the school campus. Other schools have buzzers, and the doors are locked until someone in the office buzzes people in.

I believe that we should get a new high school. There is not enough room for all of the students, so the environment is becoming dangerous, and it is already dangerous because anyone could just walk right into the school. So please go to the polls on Tuesday and give Indian Creek a "yes" vote.
