Lucille Haber

HABER, Lucille Joann, 87, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in the Weirton Medical Center.

Born Dec. 13, 1924, in Weirton, she was a daughter of the late Vito and Conchetta Sciarrino.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Haber, Sr., son, Stanley Haber, Jr., daughter, Marlene Haber, brothers, Mike and Joe Sciarrino and sisters, Mamie Mayerich and Sara Herndon.

During World War II, Lucille worked as a tin flopper at Weirton Steel. After her marriage, she enjoyed being a loving wife, mother and homemaker. A very important part of her life was her membership with St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where she attended Mass every Saturday evening.

Lucille is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pam Haber of Weirton, loving granddaughter, Stacy Lynn Haber of Glendale, Ariz., and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, W.Va. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Larry Dorsch will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
