NICHOLS, Jenny Lou "Judy," age 71, of Toronto, Ohio, passed away suddenly Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at the East Liverpool, Ohio City Hospital.
She was born April 27, 1940, in Jefferson County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Samuel W. and Mildred L. Grimm Springer.
Judy had been employed at the former Murphy's 5 & 10 in Toronto and at the former D &A Dry Cleaning Co. in Steubenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George A. Nichols who passed away in 1974; brothers, Dohrman Samuel and James Springer; several deceased sisters.
Judy's survivors are a son, Steven Michael (Robbin) Springer of Toronto, Ohio; brother, William (Joan) Springer of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sister, Tabra Sue (Tom) Griffith of Salineville, Ohio.
Friends and family will gather for visitation from 5- 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.
A celebration service of Judy's life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68, Toronto near Empire, Ohio.
