ZORNE, Stephen T., 52, of Wintersville, loving husband, father and pap, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at home.
He was born Oct. 15, 1959, in Steubenville, the son of Patricia King Zorne of Wintersville and the late Thomas Zorne.
Steve was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, was employed at the Arcelor Mittal, Warren, Ohio, Coke Plant and formerly at Weirton Steel. He was a graduate of Wintersville High School, class of 1978.
Surviving are his wife; Tammy Cooper Zorne whom he married Dec. 16, 1977, one son, Doug (Megan) Zorne of Zanesville, one daughter, Julie (Jeff) Blake of Wintersville, one brother, Donald (Fiance, Leslie) Zorne of Wintersville and one sister, Melva (Ron) Crouch of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren; Jack, Karsen, Noah and an expected granddaughter due in July.
Steve was a 16 gallon blood donor to the American Red Cross.
Steve was the world's greatest pap and his grandchildren were his world.
Calling hours are Thursday 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass 9:30 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. (Everyone please meet at the church) Interment will be private.
