Steubenville

Vandalism: Window broken in rear of business in the 100 block of North Fourth Street, Monday.

Arrested: James J. Howard, 23, Apartment 1, 2522 Sunset Blvd., failure to appear warrant out of municipal court and criminal mischief and obstructing official business after running from a vehicle during a traffic stop around 4:50 p.m. Monday near Jefferson Street.

Arrested: Lorenzo L. Howard, 20, 1380 county Road 42, Toronto, failure to appear warrant out of municipal court, Monday.

Cited: Nicole L. Pierson, 28, 1263 Wilson Ave., Mingo Junction, expired plates and illegal plates.

Vandalism: Vehicle window broken and four tires flattened on county Road 56, Toronto, Monday.

Break-in: Door to house on township Road 297, Toronto, broken open but nothing appeared taken inside, Monday.

Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Michael A. DeFelice, 25, East Liverpool, driving under the influence, Sunday.

Hit and run: A garage door, retaining wall and hedges on Second Street in Beech Bottom were struck by a vehicle that left the scene late Sunday.

Burglary: A home on Apple Pie Ridge near Wellsburg was broken into and several drawers opened between 4 p.m. Thursday and 9:50 p.m. Friday, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Theft: A lawn mower, weed trimmer, several boards and various tools were taken from a garage on Reeves Drive in Wellsburg between Jan. 2 and 10. The door had been pried open.

Follansbee

Theft: Several unlocked vehicles in the 1100 block of Neville Street and on Linden Street were entered on Sunday. A pair of binoculars was taken from one vehicle but later recovered, City Police said. Change also was taken.
