Representatives of the Upper Ohio Valley Opera Guild recently presented the second UOVOG music scholarship since the organization's formation with a $1,000 scholarship awarded to Abby Andresen, a graduate of Steubenville High School and the daughter of Rick and Mary Ann Andresen of Steubenville.
She is pursuing a degree in music at Capitol University's Conservatory of Music.
On hand for the presentation to Andresen were guild members Mike Strean, Joe Leonard, Josephine Irvine-Groves and Anita Jackson.
