To the editor:
My brother, Brian DiVittorio, was killed in an accident on U.S. Route 250 in Moundsville when he swerved out of the way and saved the life on an oncoming driver, causing him to go over a 130-foot embankment to his death.
This accident happened on Aug. 8. He left behind a family, including a 12-year-old son. We miss him so much and want everyone to know that he died a hero. He was just 42. I just want to know if anything will be done to make that road safer and to never let my brother's death be forgotten.
He died a hero ... please don't let him be forgotten or let this tragedy happen to another innocent person who was just doing his job. Don't let this happen to another family, who has been left heart-broken.
