STEUBENVILLE - It's that time of year again - a time when street lamps become decorated with cobwebs, front porches with pumpkins, and children knock on front doors dressed as fairies and skeletons.

It's Halloween season, and Halloween City in Steubenville is offering plenty of costumes and accessories, according to its manager.

Halloween City is located in the old Circuit City building on Mall Drive and offers thousands of costumes and accessories for those young and old.

"All we do is Halloween. We have something for everybody and the whole family. In addition, we always have weekly sale items," said store Manager Kevin Reiner.

This will be Reiner's third season working at Halloween City, and he said business has been great, and he only expects it to get better as time goes on.

The store offers costumes for men, women and children as well as accessories for outfits, props and party favors. Even old films and music soundtracks to set the mood at a party can be found, he noted.

Reiner said the store's location is great, as all the traffic from the Fort Steuben Mall increases the chances that people will stop in for a look.

Halloween City has been in business since 1988 and has hundreds of stores throughout the country.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.

Halloween City is hiring now, offering temporary positions for the holiday season, and will be hiring until they close. The store will be in operation until Nov. 2. For information, call (302) 332-1756 or stop by the store.
