BLOOMINGDALE - Rachel N. Land and Robert "Alex" Lewis were united in marriage on June 11 in a private ceremony at the Wintersville gazebo by the Rev. Jason Elliott.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Margaret McGough of Wintersville and Frank and Shiela Land of Morgantown.
The groom is the son of David and Cathy Lewis of Toronto.
The bride wore a white gown with beading and pearls.
She carried a bouquet of white and red carnations with a single red rose.
Rebecca Boring, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Courtney Lewis, sister of the groom, served as the bridesmaid.
Bert Gaffney, friend of the groom, served as best man. John Humpe, friend of the groom, served as the groomsman.
A private dinner was held for family and friends at JC Wine Cellars.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Indian Creek High School, 2011 graduate of Eastern Gateway Community College and is attending West Liberty University to earn her bachelor's degree in health science.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Toronto High School. He is employed as an electrician at IBEW Local 246.
The couple reside in Bloomingdale.
