The couple were married June 19, 1971.
He is the son of the late Hugh and Eileen Grimm. He is employed by Severstal.

The couple have two children, Lindsey Knight and Jared, as well as three grandchildren.
They celebrated their anniversary with a trip to South America, which included the Galapagos Islands and Macchu Picchu.
