BLOOMINGDALE - Ashley Nicole Pehanich and Zane Tyler Boyd were united in marriage March 5 at the Bergholz United Methodist Church in Bergholz. The Rev. Steve Anderson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pehanich of Bloomingdale, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Boyd of Bergholz.
The matron of honor was Jamie Cavanaugh. Bridesmaids were Kristy Pehanich, sister of the bride, Kelsey Garritano and Kalie Spring and Nicole Pehanish, sister of the bride.
The best man was Ryan Boyd, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Dave Ujcich, Jason Champion and Pierre Boyd, brother of the groom, and Billy Boyd, nephew of the groom. The ring bearer was Carver Champion.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Indian Creek High School. She received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 2009 from West Liberty University and her peace officer certification in 2010 from Eastern Gateway Community College.
She is employed as a part-time officer and dispatcher at the Martins Ferry Police Department.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Edison High School.
He is in the Coast Guard Reserves and is employed as a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Countryside by Ohio Catering.
The couple reside in Toronto.
